Sheikh Muhammad SANI YAHAYA JINGIR, a revered Islamic cleric, was born on January 7, 1950, in Gurum Town, Bassa Local Government area of Plateau State, Nigeria. His educational journey began at Katako Amo Primary School in Bassa, where he obtained his School leaving certificate in 1966. He furthered his studies under Jama’atu Nasril Islam, graduating with a Grade lll Certificate in 1979. Pursuing his passion for Islamic knowledge, he attended Higher Islamic in Maiduguri to earn his Grade ll Certificate in 1983 and later enrolled at the Arabic Teachers College in Jos. Sheikh JINGIR‘s quest for learning led him to achieve a Diploma in Arabic, Hausa, and Islamic Studies from Bayero University, Kano, in 1987, followed by a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Jos in 2000. His academic pursuits culminated in obtaining a Master’s Degree in Education with a Specialty in Language Arts Education from the University of Jos in 2007.
