About Dr. AHMAD BUK
Sheikh Dr. AHMAD Muhammad Ibrahim Bamba BUK, born in 1940 in Alabar A.E.B, Kumasi, emerged from a scholarly background and early Islamic education, delving deep into fiqh, the Qur’an, and Hadith teachings under revered mentors. His pursuit of knowledge took him to Egypt and later to the Islamic University of Madinah, where he obtained his BA, MA, and PhD in Hadith studies. His expertise in Hadith led to a distinguished career at Bayero University in Kano, Nigeria, where he imparted knowledge, initiated Hadith teaching, and established the Darul Hadith mosque, earning acclaim for his commitment to authentic teachings and scholarship.
Sheikh Dr. AHMAD Bamba’s unwavering dedication to teaching and da’awah resonated through his insightful lectures, Tafsir sessions, and Wa’azi, promoting adherence to the Manhajus Sunnah and the ways of the pious predecessors.
