Sheikh ADAM MUHAMMAD ALBANIY GOMBE, originally Adam Muhammad Murtadha, began his Islamic education in Ajingi Local Government, Kano State, under the guidance of his father and later continued studying in Kano city and Gombe. Graduating from the Government Arabic College in Gombe in 2007, he overcame challenges through dedication, acquiring a Diploma in Arabic and solidifying his foundation in the teachings of the Qur’an. His commitment to learning and spiritual growth propelled him towards academic excellence, setting the stage for his future as an Islamic scholar.
Sheikh ADAM’s career as a preacher and Islamic scholar is marked by his adherence to the teachings of the Qur’an, Hadith, and the Sunnah, earning him the title “Albani of Gombe.” Despite facing obstacles, including a suspension from the priesthood, his unwavering dedication to Da’awah and pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia showcased his resilience and faith. Through his teachings emphasizing the Manhajus Sunnah, right Aqidah, and the guidance of the Pious Predecessors, he has become a revered figure within the Hausa-speaking communities of Nigeria’s Arewa region, leaving a lasting impact on Islamic scholarship and spiritual enlightenment.
